CASEY RIVERS

Casey Rivers | Singer-Songwriter & Indie Folk Artist

Casey describes herself as a sensitive river girlie, country-folk musician, and storyteller. She grew up in Illinois and has found a home in Westerly, Rhode Island.

In 2026, Casey earned a spot on the Levitate Music Festival lineup after winning the festival’s Emerging Songwriter Showcase and a $5,000 artist grant. She shared the weekend’s lineup with artists including Alanis Morissette, The Elovaters, Caamp, Trombone Shorty, Sammy Rae and The Friends, and Bebe Stockwell—marking a major milestone in her career. Casey has also opened for Hayley Jane, Ryan Montbleau, and Will Evans at the Snow Moon Festival.

Inspired by the music of Melanie, Janis Joplin, and Alanis Morissette, she brings her own voice to the songs she loves to perform. Her old-time, effortless vocals captivate audiences, tackling heartbreak and nostalgia with an Americana sound.

“You’ll Be Okay” and “Casey’s Song” are streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. Her full catalog of music so far is available on Bandcamp. She is currently working on her debut album, Qualms, inspired by her obsession with all things water, love, and the little irksome, yet nostalgic, things in life.

Casey plays and sings with several groups in Westerly, Rhode Island, including the house band at High Hope Tavern on Sunday nights. She is also part of a duo project with her partner, Shane Patrick.

This fall, she plans to record Qualms with friends including John Coretto producing and engineering, Dave LaPorte on bass, Angela DeFazio on drums, and Tommy Keys on… the keys!
